Thank you for visiting the web site for the Butler County Juvenile Justice Center. We invite you to browse the site and discover the many dimensions of our court and correctional facilities. You will quickly discover that we represent a microcosm of the justice system that encompasses the following areas: Judicial, Administrative Services, Juvenile Clerk's Office, Juvenile Probation Department, Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency Unit, Program Services, Information Services, Juvenile Detention Center and Juvenile Rehabilitation Center. The Juvenile Court has jurisdiction over the following case types: Delinquent, Unruly, Support, Paternity, Juvenile Traffic, Abuse, Neglect, Dependency, Custody, Visitation, and Adult Criminal.

Online Hearing Instructions

The following are in effect beginning Monday, May 4, 2020:

  • Persons who do not have official business to conduct with the court should not come to the building, and they may have their access to the building restricted during the public health emergency.

  • Anyone entering an office or building is also subject to a health screening or non-invasive testing, including a check with a touch-free thermometer, and admission is based on the results of the screening or test.

  • Any Juvenile Court employee or any other person entering 280 N. Fair Avenue to access any Juvenile Court hearing or services shall wear a facial covering while in the building.

  • Court hearings will be continued, conducted virtually and "in person" wherever possible. Questions regarding your hearing should be directed to the following phone number: (513) 887-3318.
  • Work Program is canceled until further notice.
  • Resident visitation for the Juvenile Detention Center and Juvenile Rehabilitation Center is suspended until further notice.  Increased telephone contact with parents and/or legal guardians in lieu of in-person visitation will be provided.
