Application Process

The process to become a PARACHUTE CASA volunteer is:

  1. APPLICATION - You complete application and submit online or by mail.
  2. REFERENCES - Your application is received and reviewed by PARACHUTE office, you will receive a confirmation letter and your references sent out.
  3. INTERVIEW - When at least three of your references are received, PARACHUTE staff will contact you by phone or email to schedule an in person interview.
  4. BACKGROUND CHECK - PARACHUTE will conduct background check and if approved, you will be invited to attend training.
  5. CASA TRAINING and COURT OBSERVATION. After you successfully complete 30 hour CASA training course, you will be sworn in as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
  6. ASSIGNMENT TO A CHILD's case !
