Application Process
The process to become a PARACHUTE CASA volunteer is:
- APPLICATION - You complete application and submit online or by mail.
- REFERENCES - Your application is received and reviewed by PARACHUTE office, you will receive a confirmation letter and your references sent out.
- INTERVIEW - When at least three of your references are received, PARACHUTE staff will contact you by phone or email to schedule an in person interview.
- BACKGROUND CHECK - PARACHUTE will conduct background check and if approved, you will be invited to attend training.
- CASA TRAINING and COURT OBSERVATION. After you successfully complete 30 hour CASA training course, you will be sworn in as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
- ASSIGNMENT TO A CHILD's case !
