The Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Training Program is funded under the Department of Homeland Security, First Responder Grant Program, coordinated by the Office of Domestic Preparedness. It provides training opportunities for local First Responders in chemical, biological, explosive, incendiary, and radiological considerations during emergency response.
The Butler County Emergency Management Agency is tasked with the responsibility of acting as the coordinating point of contact for WMD Training in Butler County. The program is divided into in-county and out-of-state training. The Butler County In-State Training Program Coordinator is Jeff Galloway, director of the Butler County Emergency Management Agency.
