The Butler County Domestic Relations Court is a special division of the Butler County Court of Common Pleas. By special, we mean that only certain kinds of cases can be heard here. We hear all cases involving divorce, dissolution of marriage, legal separation, and annulment for people who live within the borders of Butler County. We also hear cases involving civil domestic violence. In addition, we hear and decide all matters which are related to the termination of marriage or domestic violence. That includes child custody, visitation between parents and their children, child support, property division, division of debts, and spousal support.
