The Honorable Judge Dan Haughey was elected to the Butler County Area III bench on November 4, 2008.    The Area III jurisdiction includes the Butler County communities of West Chester and Monroe.

•             Judge Haughey holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
•             Judge Haughey is a visiting professor of business law at Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business and coaches the Miami Mock Trial Team.

Judge Haughey is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Butler County Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB) and the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) Board of Directors.
