The Butler County Health Department maintains birth certificates for Butler County, Ohio from 1909 to the present, except for births which occur in the cities of Hamilton and Middletown.

For babies born in the cities of Hamilton or Middletown, the city health departments are the appropriate agencies to contact to obtain a birth certificate.
